Winner of VWC Fringe Award announced
At the closing party of the recent Melbourne Fringe Festival, Director Roderick Poole announced the winner of the VWC Award for Best Emerging Playwright, supported by the Melbourne Theatre Company. The award went to Katy Warner for her play These are the Isolate. Katy wins a double pass to every MTC opening night for 12 months, a year’s membership to the VWC and $250 towards VWC courses and events. A highly commended accolade went to Tom Pitts for his play Ad Nauseam. Congratulations to Katy and Tom.
