Australia Council Literature Board grants program

Information session Tuesday 24 February 6.30–8pm
Staff from the Australia Council’s Literature Board will present an information session on the Board’s programs of assistance to individual writers and organisations.
Grant categories and closing dates in 2009 are
- Publishing and Promotion, Residencies – 16 March
- New Work and Fellowships – 15 May
- Publishing and Promotion, Program Grants – 1 October.

Please note that, from 2009, the Australian Society of Authors will be managing the Literature Board’s Emerging Writers’ and Illustrators’ Initiative. Emerging writers and illustrators should contact the ASA directly for more information at www.asauthors.org.
Individual client meetings Wednesday 25 February
Literature staff will be available for half-hour individual client meetings at the VWC from 9.30am – 4pm on Wednesday 25 February. These meetings are for published writers only. Please see the notes above about Emerging writers and illustrators.
