Fellowships
Applications are now open for the 2012 Glenfern Fellowships.
The following Fellowships were awarded in 2011:
• The Readings Glenfern Fellowship for a Mid-Career Writer.The use of a Glenfern writers’ studio for three months has been awarded to three writers who are established, with a proven track record of published prose, poetry or works written for performance.
• The Grace Marion Wilson Glenfern Fellowship for an Emerging Writer. The use of a Glenfern writers’ studio for three months has been awarded to three emerging writers who are working on their first or second work.
• Writing @ Rosebank Round 1 Fellowships were awarded to four writers to spend three weeks at Rosebank in 2011.
• Writing @ Rosebank Round 2 Fellowships have been awarded to four writers to spend three weeks in the delightful writers’ cottage between October 2011 and March 2012.
• The Hazel Rowley Literary Fellowship was established in 2011 to commemorate the life, ideas and writing of Hazel Rowley (1951–2011) and encourage Australian authors to attain a high standard of biography writing.
