How do I sustain a regular writing habit?

Getting into a daily writing routine is a great idea. Setting a daily or weekly word limit (even a small one) is a great place to start, or taking on a writing challenge like NaPoWriMo (to write a poem every day in April) or NaNoWriMo (to write a novel in the month of November). You’ll be amazed at how quickly the words add up.

Joining a writing group is also a great way to get and stay motivated – as having to read and respond to your fellow group members helps keep you accountable. You can find a list of writing groups open to new members on this website.
