Plot, Story and Theme

Date:

With:

Anne Gracie

Rating:

EARLY, EMERGING

Summary:

Story ideas can come fairly easily to a writer, but turning those ideas into a workable novel is a whole other process. A story is the idea, the plot is the sequence of events (and characters) you construct to give life to that story. Theme underpins both story and plot and gives meaning to the novel. It's a big part of what makes a novel resonate with a reader long after they have finished reading.
