Great writing shows us the world in a new way, using language and imagery to surprise and engage all our senses.

This workshop will focus on finding the story voice through exploring the sensuousness of writing. We’ll talk about how voice is conjured on the page. We'll work on how to heighten awareness of the physical world and our interactions with it. We’ll bring those sensations to the page in writing exercises that exploit the infinite possibilities of the sentence to give the writing a powerful and distinctive voice.

This workshop is presented in partnership with Linton on Linton Arts (LOLA) and is supported by the Grace Marion Wilson Trust through the Small Regional Grants Fund.
