About Stephanie Armstrong

Stephanie Armstrong is a Gamilaraay woman from a large extended family from northern NSW. She is a trained primary school teacher, having taught for over 35 years in rural, remote and urban contexts. This has provided her with the skills and experiences she requires in both her consultancy business and her personal life. Stephanie is on many local committees and on the Worawa (Aboriginal girls school) advisory board.

Stephanie has presented at national and state levels on Aboriginal education and internationally on her work with peace and reconciliation. Her role in the community has continued to grow as she works in providing leadership and the understanding of cultural safety, working respectfully and in a cultural interface.

About Misbah Khokhar

Misbah Khokhar runs her own creative writing workshops through her company Witch and Wolf and her first book is ‘Rooftops in Karachi’, out through Vagabond Press. She holds post-graduate qualifications in creative writing, editing and publishing. She has performed and continues to perform her work in many festivals and events, and is published extensively through ‘Mascara Lit Review’, ‘Australian Poetry Journal’, ‘Cordite’, ‘Peril’, and ABC radio's ‘Poetica’.
