Learn how to improve your own or others' writing by acquiring the know-how of structural editing, copy editing, and proofreading.

This introductory course explains the differences between the three editing processes, and how they are applied to all types of publications.

  • Introduction to the copy editing process: developing clear, meaningful, and readable documents for effective communication. This includes identifying common grammatical and punctuation errors.
  • Introduction to proofreading: you will be provided with the proofreader’s checklist.

Please bring pen and paper, or your laptop if you prefer.
