While synopses and pitches are useful marketing tools, they can also play a much more important role.

They can keep you on track when you wander into the depths of research, keep you motivated when you want to give up and give you the confidence to treat your fledgling work as the foundation of a great book. They can also, of course, help you to gain the attention of a publisher. Learn about the acquisition process, how publishers think and how to construct a strong proposal. Come prepared to pitch your work to the group and gain valuable feedback on how your pitch might attract a publisher.

This workshop develops employment-related skills.

This workshop will be Auslan Interpreted.
