Putting poetry on paper is just the beginning. Bankstown Poetry Slam Slambassador and co-founder of Dubai Poetry Slam Sara Saleh leads this writing and performance workshop. She will teach how to craft and perform commanding lyrical verses, and how to find comfort and power in your own poetic voice.

About Sara Saleh

Sara Saleh is a poet, writer and activist. A campaigner for refugee rights and racial justice, she has spent the past decade working with NGOs in Australia and across the Middle East. She is currently developing her debut novel, and is a proud Bankstown Poetry Slam ‘Slambassador’. She sits on the board of Getup! and is completing her Juris Doctor.
