All
We all know that a good story should have a beginning, a middle, and an end – but getting from A to B to C in a way that won’t leave your readers bored or confused can be harder than it sounds! In this course, author Jodi McAlister will teach you about how to pace your work so that you grab your reader and never let go.

You Will Learn:

  • How setting narrative milestones can help you
  • The value of suspense and shock
  • Why pacing is tied to emotional investment in characters and plot
  • How to do exposition without info-dumping
  • How to work out the right pace for your narrative
