ABR Calibre Essay Prize

Australian Book Review welcomes entries in the thirteenth Calibre Essay Prize, Australia's premier prize for a non-fiction essay. They welcome essays of all kinds: personal or political, literary or speculative, traditional or experimental. Judges are J.M. Coetzee, Anna Funder, and Peter Rose. First Prize of AU$5,000, and a Second Prize of AU$2,500.

Entry is open to all essayists writing in English. Essays of between 2,000 and 5,000 words on any subject.

Entry costs AU$15 for current ABR subscribers and full-time students or AU$25 for non-subscribers.
