Roderick Poole
Director
Roderick comes to Writers Victoria from a performing arts background. Having written and performed plays in the mid to late 80s, he turned to street theatre. Initially co-founding Primary Source, which created major outdoor works that toured Australia, he then founded his own company Strange Fruit. Roderick has since managed the Northcote Town Hall and the Regional Arts Victoria touring program.
Jacquelin Low
Administration and Finance Manager
With a background in theatre directing and dramaturgy, Jacquelin has a passion for the arts. She has extensive experience in small business and arts management.
Mary Napier
Program Manager
Mary had extensive experience in arts administration, community arts and program development throughout New South Wales and Tasmania before joining the Writers Victoria in 2005. Initially employed as Administrator at the Writers Victoria, she came on board as Program Manager in 2007. Mary also has a background in writing as a spoken word performer and musician, and scriptwriter for theatre and screen.
Anna Kelsey-Sugg
Publications Manager
Anna Kelsey-Sugg has worked as a writer, editor and proofreader with several publications and publishing houses. She has a Bachelor of Creative Writing from the University of Melbourne and a Diploma of Professional Writing and Editing from RMIT. Her writing has appeared in The Age, The Australian and The Sydney Morning Herald.
Elise Hearst
Marketing and Membership Coordinator
Elise brings her experience as a playwright and arts administrator to Writers Victoria. She graduated from the Melbourne University School of Creative Arts in 2005 and has since spent time living in London, attending the Royal Court Young Writers’ Programmes. She is also a founding member of KumQuat Theatre in Melbourne.
